Gorilla thinking of Bio...

Okay, so I'm dreading and forcing myself to write a small bio about myself for my Etsy shop. I don't like writing anything about myself. I always come up with something cryptic and then I'm so unhappy with what I put out there. I just cringe at opening up. I never got any better at it in AA meetings either. So I've given myself this weekend to write something. My Gorilla said he'll help me with it.

I need to remind myself to, "Keep it Simple Stupid!"

My "Etsy" Banner is up!

Check on the Link under "My Etsy Shop" to the right of this post.

Another challenge completed! It really feels great to figure these things out for myself. This is the banner I'll be using for now. When I have time to be a little more creative I will be updating it. For now this is perfect!

This past Sunday the family and I were sellers in the community Flea Market. I thought I'd try to sell some of Itty's clothes and items that she has outgrown, but not a bite for any of the items. Everything was in excellent condition with low prices, but no one was interested. So I donated everything to my Sister who knows someone who is having a yard sale and hopefully someone will buy it there. I just want them to go to someone who can use some great stuff.

I accepted a lot of used items for my Itty because I saw no reason in spending a lot of money on things she will outgrow very quickly. We used new and used and I took good care of everything, especially my little girl! She's growing so quickly and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Green Cat

Here's my latest painting/drawing. Green just seemed to feel right.

I'm going to start posting these paintings to sell on Etsy. I have a lot of work ahead of me. It's all about computer work and learning how to put up artwork on the Etsy site. This is so exciting. I'm a little shy about putting my artwork up for the world to see, but I have to get out of my sheltered cave of fear. No more fear. This is a big step for me and I'm so happy to be taking it.

Picture cropped!

Okay, I figured it out. I just need to remember the steps to get photos posted and write it all down. So much to figure out just to post on the this site. It must be done.

This is a test on how to put the copyright logo on my image. I have to work out the kinks. I don't know why it's up on the right corner. I will try again later.

This is also one of my Queenies. Sooo happy this one!

I'm working on a painting right now and I should be finished by tomorrow. Happy Father's Day to all our fathers!

Red Queen

I'm back on the painting table. This is a little portrait of my imaginary Queenies. I won't be selling these on Etsy right away. It's a side interest. Just having fun.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Been so busy baking and printing photos of my Itty-Bitty and her Grandpa. I thought I'd be painting, but it's my good old Dad's B-day today. We celebrated by going to Philippe's by the retired Postal Annex. Yum! It was also a beautiful day so we spent some time at the park. We were content and serene. That's the way I like it. This is how I feel when I think of my father at the park. Happy Birthday Dad!

Angry Animal and Bird painting

This is the new painting. I've scanned this image and I'm proud of myself for installing my new scanner all on my own. Now, I can concentrate on my next painting. I will be posting to sell sooon!
I'm having trouble downloading photos from my computer into the other templates. I'll take a break from trying to figure that out. My main concern is painting. I am motivated and inspired!

Latest Painting

Actually I finished this last weekend. I've got one ready to come out of the oven this morning.
I'm learning how to use the Blogger and I choose not to make it public until I've figured how I can create a nice header. Always learning.
